Avancemos is another option. Plenty of online resources as well.

Realidades has mainly updated their technology and not so much made changed to the text. Our district won't allow students to have individual accounts so that makes the technology usage limited.
I liked Así Se Dice and had asked the company to come out and host an informative meeting showing us their product and never heard back from them. That was disappointing to me and made me reconsider wanting to work with them. I agree with Ashley...textbooks are really a thing of the past. The technology is what we need (authentic materials.) I wasn't impressed with Santillana nor EMC.

We're just coming out of our adoption from Realidades, and we've gotten way away from using them for level 2 because they're so outdated. Our district is in the midst of adopting new books for 2017, and it's likely though not assuredly that Así Se Dice will be approved. They have great online content and align with the content units that our district-wide cadre has agreed to set in place. In the end, I personally feel that textbooks aren't necessary with the focus on ACTFL proficiency, IPA's, PBL, and incorporation authentic materials in language learning. They're just a resource at best.
