Texas A & M at Commerce hosts the Texas Foreign Languages Symposium in the spring. Northeast Texas Organization of Language Educators is the sponsoring teacher organization. French, German, and Spanish languages make up the events Google NETOLE and choose the TAMU at Commerce site.
Students do enjoy competing. Hope you can come. Last year a Midland school competed in French with us.

Subject: [TFLA-list] Spanish Competitions?
Hi Foreign Language Teacher Friends,
I have a question. I work at LGISD in La Grange, Tx. My co-worker and I
are interested in getting our students (Spanish) involved in competitions
(like UIL). Can you please suggest any competition opportunities that you
are aware of for Spanish grades 9-12?
